The centre of the city in Graz is the Hauptplatz, the main square, which was built in the Middle Ages as a trapezoidal market square. The Hauptplatz was and still is the centre of public life. All trams of Graz stop here.
Also the Schlossberg, the hill with the clock tower, is located in the city centre of Graz. The Mur river with its wonderful attraction of the swimming Mur island can be also reached very easily by feet.
Many little shops and charming coffeehouses in cosy narrow alleys makes the picture of the worth seeing city centre of Graz complete.
